European Commission: Romania is among the top garlic producing countries in the European Union

Romania is in the top of the garlic producing countries in the European Union, announces the representation of the European Commission in Romania, according to Eurostat.

In 2021, more than 30,000 tons of garlic were produced in Romania.

Thus, in first place is Spain with 315,720 tons, followed by Romania with 30,130 tons and Italy – 28,660. The ranking is completed by France (28,590 tons) and Poland (25,200 tons).
