The Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitization, Sebastian Burduja, emphasized on Thursday, at the opening of GoTech World conference, the importance of hosting such an event by Romania, through which our country can promote its message that digital transformation, research, innovation matter, are the engines of growth for the economy, according to Agerpres.
He emphasized that in order to achieve these goals, Romania has the most important ingredient – the human resource.
According to the minister, the economic development of Romania depends on predictability and investments in productivity, as the Republic of Moldova did, which made the digital transformation a priority of the state, regardless of the government.
In his opinion, Romania has everything it needs to continue the digital revolution, and without a partnership between the public and private sectors, the transformation of our country will never succeed.
In his turn, Iurie Turcanu, deputy prime minister for digitization in the Government of the Republic of Moldova, said that his team remains focused on everything it set out to do, despite the problems the country is currently facing. The official from Chisinau spoke about the successes of his team in the digitization of the country, emphasizing the importance of the constant help received from Romania.
„One of the faithful, long-term, constant partners, which offered us a very pronounced help, has always been Romania. Along the way, I am very satisfied that we managed to create a good synergy with the Government of Romania. At the beginning of this year, we signed a memorandum of collaboration on the digital development division, and later we were very honored to host a delegation from the authorities in Romania, responsible for digitization, and we committed together to create a common digital space,” Turcanu told the participants in the event hosted by Romexpo.
