All three bids submitted for the 5G spectrum auction have been validated, and a first round of the 5G bidding procedure will be organised on November 8, the National Communications Administration and Regulation Authority (ANCOM) announced on Thursday, according to Agerpres.

An auction board looked into the documents submitted by Orange Romania, RCS & RDS and Vodafone Romania as part of a competitive selection procedure organised for the 700 MHz, 1500 MHz, 2600 MHz and 3400-3800 MHz bands, and validated the submissions.

ANCOM is an organisation that promotes the interests of service users by promoting competition and innovation on the markets of electronic communications and postal services, pro-competitive management of limited resources (radio spectrum, numbering resources and associated technical resources), encouraging efficient investment in networks and infrastructures and promoting ultra-fast connectivity.
