NATO Secretary General to arrive in Romania on Monday, to meet President & Prime Minister

The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, will arrive in Romania on Monday to meet President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bogdan Aurescu, NATO informs, Agerpres reports.

According to a press release of the organization, the high official will hold a joint press conference with the President of Romania (around 5.00 pm) and will make press statements together with the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs (around 5.35 pm).

On Tuesday, according to the same source, Stoltenberg will meet the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu.

The NATO Secretary General will pay a visit to Romania between November 28 and 30 to preside over the meeting of the Allied Foreign Ministers, an event that takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday. Also, on the same day, Tuesday, Stoltenberg will participate in the Aspen – GMF Bucharest Forum, where he will deliver a speech.
