NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg welcomed by President Iohannis

President Klaus Iohannis on Monday welcomed visiting NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, according to Agerpres.

The two officials will have private talks, at the end of which they will hold a joint news conference.

Stoltenberg is in Romania Monday to Wednesday to preside over a meeting of the NATO foreign ministers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Also, on Tuesday, he will participate in an Aspen – GMF Bucharest Forum, where he will give a speech.

On Monday, Stoltenberg also met Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca. He is scheduled to also meet Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu and Speaker of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies Marcel Ciolacu.
