Nicolae Ciuca visits demilitarized zone between South Korea and North Korea

Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca on Friday visited the demilitarized zone between the two Korean republics, in the context of the official visit he is paying to South Korea, alongside Chamber Speaker Marcel Ciolacu, several ministers and members of Parliament, according to Agerpres.

„Today I visited the Demilitarized Zone between the two Koreas (…). Romania stands with South Korea in supporting the prospect of sustainable peace,” the PM wrote on the Government’s Twitter page.

Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca is paying December 21-23 an official visit to the Republic of Korea. He had talks with his South Korean counterpart Han Duck-soo, and several high-level meetings on topical matters in the economic cooperation area, with a focus on energy, investments, education and defence industry.
