The specialists from the National Anti-drug Agency, from 47 Drug Prevention, Evaluation and Counseling Centres will be permanently present in kindergartens, schools and high schools throughout the new school year, to provide information and specialist support in the benefit of teachers, parents and students who reopened the doors of educational units throughout the country, according to Agerpres.
„Correct, scientifically based information, and awareness of the harmful effects and consequences of engaging in risky behaviours, such as drug use, will represent the priorities of the National Anti-Drug Agency (ANA) interventions throughout the entire 2022-2023 school year,” informs a ANA press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday.
ANA representatives attended, on Monday, the opening festivities of the new school year, to promote the new educational offer addressed to children, teaching staff and the auxiliary staff.
On this occasion, the specific interventions of the Agency, focused on the prevention of risky behaviours, the formation of skills necessary for making informed and responsible decisions, as well as the promotion of protective factors, through the development of a strong connection with the school and the family, were brought back to the attention of schools and parents,” says the same source.
