Moldovan President Maia Sandu, the sixth most trusted foreign leader among Ukrainians

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, ranked sixth in the list of the most trusted foreign leaders among Ukrainians, with 50.4% of favorable opinions, according to the data of a survey conducted by the analysis center from Kyiv, New Europe Center, Radio Chisinau broadcasts, Agerpres reads.

On the first place is the president of Poland, Andrzej Duda, with almost 87% favorable assessments, he is followed by the American president Joe Biden with 79% and the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, with 73%.

In fourth place is the new British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, who is trusted by 64% of Ukrainians, and in fifth place is the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, who has accumulated 51% of favorable assessments, with a little more than half a percentage point more against Maia Sandu.

At the opposite pole, the majority of Ukrainians do not trust the Russian and Belarusian presidents, Vladimir Putin and Aleksandr Lukashenko, respectively, for the second consecutive year, in a percentage of 97% and 94% respectively of those interviewed. China’s president, Xi Jinping (73%) and Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orban (69%), are also on the list of distrust.
