NN Romania launches insurance for job loss

NN Romania launched an insurance that offers protection and financial support to clients who lose their jobs, the company announced on Friday, in a press release, according to Agerpres.

Thus, for six out of ten Romanians, the current workplace represents the only source of income, according to an ISRA quantitative study carried out at the NN Romania initiative in 2021, and only 33% say that they can rely on financial support from family or friends in case of unemployment.

If they were to lose their salary income, the respondents consider that they would need an amount between 1,500 and 2,500 RON per month, for a period between 4 and 8 months, to be able to cover their basic financial needs until they find a new place of employment. work, the study also shows.

The new insurance launched by NN Romania is aimed at clients between the ages of 18 and 60 who want extended coverage and financial support to protect family income in the event of losing their job for reasons independent of their own professional plans, according to the contractual conditions.

Customers can opt for an insured amount of 2,000 or 4,000 RON per month, which they can benefit from immediately after the termination of the employment contract for a maximum period of 12 months, until they find a new job. And if during the insurance they keep their job and there is no need to use the covered financial benefits, the clients receive at the end of the contract 30% of the value of the premiums paid for the insurance.
