Joe Biden may visit Central Europe in February, Polish president says

The US President, Joe Biden, may visit Central Europe most likely in February, Poland’s Andrzej Duda announced, adding that he does not yet know which of the countries in the region would be included as destinations in this visit of to Joe Biden, Reuters reports, Agerpres reads.

„Most likely, the (American) president will come to our part of Europe in February,” Duda said during a press conference held in Riga, Latvia, where he is on a working visit.

„Our part of Europe means Central Europe … this is an area that stretches from Romania to Estonia”, the Polish president also said, indicating that at the moment it is difficult to say concretely which countries Joe Biden will visit on this occasion. For now, „we do not have such information”, he added.

Earlier, the Polish publication Dziennik Gazeta Prawna hinted that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky could have a meeting with President Joe Biden at the end of February, when the head of the White House is expected to pay a visit to Poland, according to Wednesday’s edition of Ukrainska Truth.
