Ministry of Development finances 212 new investment projects in 167 localities under National Recovery Plan

The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration (MDLPA) is financing 212 new investments, in 167 localities, through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Minister Cseke Attila informs on Wednesday, according to Agerpres.

The projects, with a total value of 752,537,898.05 RON, were submitted as part of the second round of fundraising on components C5 – Renovation Wave and C10 – Local Fund of the PNRR, according to a press release of the MDLPA sent to Agerpres.

For the Renovation Wave, 13 new projects have been approved, with a total value of 79,905,469.45 RON, submitted by nine local authorities for the rehabilitation, modernization and energy efficiency of some public institutions and some multi-family residential buildings.

For the Local Fund, 199 new projects were approved, with a total value of 672,632,428.60 RON, submitted by 158 local authorities, for the rehabilitation and energy efficiency of some public institutions (medical, social, cultural, educational, administrative), the implementation of traffic management systems, the development of ICT infrastructure through intelligent local management systems, the construction of nZEB plus housing for young people, as well as the development of infrastructure for green transport, through the purchase of electric means of transport and recharging points for electric vehicles.
