The presidential press service reported to the agency that the leader of the White House gave a historic speech in Poland that marked one year since the start of the war waged by Russia against Ukraine. After the message from the American president, the head of state discussed with her counterpart from Washington about the consequences of the war in Ukraine on the Republic of Moldova and about our efforts to maintain peace and public order in the country.
„I conveyed to President Biden that Moldovans want to remain part of the free world, to live safely and to realize their dream of joining the European Union, and I thanked him for the important support provided by the US for economic development and the democratic transformation of our country”, said President Maia Sandu.
