This is the main conclusion of the meeting I had today with the Azerbaijani Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov. In the governing program, we are already preparing aid schemes to facilitate companies’ investments in the fertilizer and construction materials sectors, fields in which Azerbaijani companies have internationally recognized expertise. Finally, we insisted that, in addition to the major energy projects, fertilizers and constructions, the opening of a direct Baku-Bucharest flight route, as well as a ferry connection between the two countries, should be considered,” Marcel Ciolacu said in a post on his Facebook page.
For his part, the president of the Chamber of Deputies pointed out, the Azerbaijani side encourages Romanian investors to start projects in Azerbaijan, especially in the pharmaceutical industry and in the agricultural sector.
