UDMR’s Kelemen Hunor: Death of Queen Elizabeth II marks a historical era’s end

Published on

The death of Queen Elizabeth II marks the end of a historical era, said Deputy Prime Minister Kelemen Hunor, leader of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania, on Thursday, according to Agerpres.

„Today Queen Elizabeth II passed away. Her death marks the end of a historical era. She was the monarch of the United Kingdom for over seven decades, one of the most respected and loved heads of state in the world. We, those from Transylvania, have appreciated the fact that, through her great-grandmother, she was a descendant of an old family from this region. May she rest in peace,” wrote Kelemen Hunor on Facebook.
