Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Friday’s session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday’s trading session higher on most indices and the value of transactions stood at 44.7 million RON (9.08 million EUR), write Agerpres.

The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.30 percent to 12,227.12 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 37 shares gained 0.20 percent.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.13 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK gained 0.04 percent.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies closed down 1.09 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG rose 0.56 percent.

The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market was up 0.76 percent.

The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were OMV Petrom, with 11.39 million RON, followed by Banca Transilvania shares, with 4.31 million RON worth of trading, and those of Nuclearelectrica – 3.8 million RON.

According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Prefab (+7.76 percent), Nuclearelectrica (+2 percent) and Digi Communications NV (+1.85 percent).

Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were SIF Hoteluri (-12.57 percent), Santierul Naval Orsova (-5.77 percent) and Chimcomplex Borzesti (-3.83 percent).
