Romania’s Interior Minister Catalin Predoiu, sent a message of friendship and respect to the French people on July 14, the National Day of France, write Agerpres.

„On the occasion of the National Day of the French Republic, I want to convey a warm message of respect and friendship to the French people. This special day marks a moment of significant importance in the history of France, reminding us of the fundamental values on which the nation is founded: freedom , equality and fraternity,” Predoiu is quoted as saying in a press statement released on Friday by the Interior Ministry.

He adds that the promotion of these principles in other countries, including Romania, is one of France’s great contributions to shaping up the world in which we live.

„Today, more than ever, I want to assure the French citizens that I want to develop this partnership, between the Romanian and French Ministry of the Interior, between the two countries, between the two peoples. Happy July 14h to all the French people!”
