The official song for the World Cup final in Qatar was composed by Tudor Monroe, a 24-year-old Romanian from Brașov, who has been living in London for 4 years.
In an interview conducted by Europa FM, the producer of the song EZZ EL ARAB – the official song for the World Cup – said that he is not even a football fan, but he would have liked the Moroccan national team to catch the final of the tournament in Qatar.
“I got a call and was told it’s about the FIFA World Cup Qatar anthem, we need to go to the studio, start a session about it. There I also met the artist who sings the song – Wegz (n.r. – an Egyptian artist). Then we tried several demos, including the song you know. After we finished the demo, FIFA was satisfied and decided that this is the sound,” Tudor Monroe told Europa FM.
Tudor Monroe studied at one of the best music production schools in the world (Point Blank).
