People in Tulcea County, in the border area with Ukraine, received a new RO-ALERT message on Friday morning at around 8:48, against the backdrop of the war launched by Russia in Ukraine, the second such alert in less than two hours.

In the extreme alert message, residents of Tulcea were informed of the possibility of objects falling from the airspace, and the authorities advised them to remain calm and take shelter in basements or civil defence shelters.

This was the second message issued on Friday morning, following the one sent at around 7:15, and the fifth alert transmitted by the national authorities since Wednesday evening.
