Romania stands by the Republic of Moldova, categorically supporting its European path, said the President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, on Wednesday, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova.

„Today, on Independence Day, I extend my most sincere congratulations to all citizens of the Republic of Moldova. It is an event of special historical significance, a day that celebrates freedom and national dignity. Romania stands with the Republic of Moldova, categorically supporting its European path and contributing to the consolidation of democracy, stability and national prosperity,” the Senate President said in a press release.

He gave assurances that we will continue to be trusted partners and friends, united by our attachment to European values and our common strategic objectives.
