Air traffic at the two airports in Bucharest is operating under normal conditions, without disruptions, in the context of the Code Orange weather warning, the Bucharest National Airports Company (CNAB) announced on Friday.

„Air traffic at Henri Coanda International Airport Bucharest and Bucharest-Baneasa International Airport is operating under normal conditions, without disruptions, despite the Code Orange weather warning issued by the National Meteorological Administration for the period 2 October, 20:00 – 3 October, 23:00, valid for Bucharest Municipality and Ilfov County,” a release sent to AGERPRES reads.

According to the quoted source, CNAB has taken all necessary measures to ensure the safe conduct of all air operations at both of the Capital’s airports.

Areas from 19 counties and Bucharest Municipality are under a Code Orange Weather Warning for significant rainfall and strong winds until Friday evening, according to the National Meteorological Administration (ANM). AGERPRES
