Allowances worth over 22.4 million RON paid in October for family support

The allowances for family support, paid in October 2022, totaled over 22.43 million RON, the average amount per beneficiary standing at 179.09 RON, according to the data centralized by the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection (ANPIS) and consulted by Agerpres.

The allowances paid in September for family support were 21.597 million RON, and the average amount per beneficiary was 178.29 RON.

The ANPIS data show that, in October 2022, a number of 125,247 beneficiaries of this type of social aid were registered, increasing compared to the 121,139 beneficiaries paid in September, most of them were registered in the counties of Bacau – 7,650, Suceava – 7,336, Iasi – 6,472 and Vaslui – 6,347.

Fewest beneficiaries were in Bucharest (203) and in the counties of Ilfov (689), Timis (886) and Tulcea (976).

The highest value of the average amount paid (current rights) was recorded in the counties of Timis – 213.8 RON, Brasov – 213.2 RON, Ilfov – 200.67 RON and Bihor – 197.15 RON.

The benefit was established by Law No. 277/2010 regarding the allowance for family support and addresses to families who have children in their care and have lower incomes than the threshold established by the law.
