Customers from Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria preferred to place orders mainly from their mobile phone, most purchases being made between 10:00 and 15:00 hrs, shows an analysis of online retailer eMag, conducted among the more than eight million customers it has in the region, after the end of the winter shopping season, Agerpres informs.

Among eMag customers who ordered via mobile, 78% are from Romania, 61% from Hungary and 72% from Bulgaria.

„Customers in all three countries were able to choose to shop from both eMag and Marketplace sellers, and consequently, over 22,000 eMag sellers registered orders in at least one of the three countries in December. Over 2,200 of these sellers also had orders from a country other than the country of residence. At the same time, over 220,000 orders from the sellers’ offer were delivered by eMag, directly from the logistics hub in Joita, through the Fulfillment service,” informs a press release from eMag, sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday.

According to the research, the most complex order amounted to 60,499 RON, placed from Romania, and included 285 products from categories such as beverages, personal care and makeup, dry food, home care products, hygiene products, a large appliance, a perfume and a small appliance.

Also, an order was placed from Hungary comprising 50 products, with a value of 46,622 RON and included: beverages, books and entertainment items, dry food, home textiles, hygiene products, office supplies, toys, sporting goods.

The largest order from Bulgaria, of 38 products, worth 23,105 RON, included women’s clothing, men’s clothing, bags and accessories.

A Romanian company founded in 2001, eMag became, last year, the most valuable Romanian brand and the first e-Commerce company to rank first in the Brand Finance ranking.
