The General Border Police Inspectorate (IGPF) informs that 90,496 persons entered Romania on Tuesday through the border crossing points, including 11,246 Ukrainian citizens, write Agerpres.
According to a press release sent on Wednesday to AGERPRES, about 184,000 people, Romanian and foreign citizens, with about 49,400 means of transport, underwent border checks, on both the inbound and the outbound.
As of 10 February 2022 (pre-conflict period), 4.531.055 Ukrainian citizens entered Romania.
As part of the specific activities at crossing points and the green border, the border police found 76 illegal acts (41 offences and 35 contraventions) committed by both Romanian and foreign citizens.
Fines worth RON 15,300 were issued and the value of the seized undeclared goods amounts to approximately RON 402,000.
On Tuesday, eight foreign citizens who did not meet the legal requirements were denied entry to the country and 27 Romanian citizens were not allowed to leave the country for various legal reasons.
