Raed Arafat, head of the Department for Emergency Situations, warned during a press conference on Friday that there may be other drones that could explode, which is why a precautionary evacuation was ordered within a one-kilometer radius of the coastal area. Arafat stated that a Ro Alert message had been issued for the counties of Constanța and Tulcea.

“There is a possibility that there are other drones in the area, which is why a Ro Alert message was issued for the counties of Constanța and Tulcea. We have decided to carry out a precautionary evacuation of the coastal area within a one-kilometer radius until we are certain there is no risk of another explosion,” Raed Arafat stated at a press conference.
