Blue Air low cost air operator announced it would resume flights as of October 10, pointing out that for the moment it doesn’t have enough funds available to pay for the fuel and the other operational expenses, necessary for the flights planned as of September 12, according to Agerpres.
„In the last 48 hours, the Blue Air executive management, the Board and shareholders found that the ticket sales level has been seriously affected and the amounts cashed by the payment processors have been blocked so that the company doesn’t have available at the moment the necessary funds to pay for the fuel and the other operational expenses, necessary for the flights planned as of September 12. Moreover, all flight essential service suppliers have conditioned the supply of the respective services on the payment of the outstanding debts. In this context, there have been analysed all aspects on the modality to resume the flight activity as soon as possible, having direct talks with tens of critical company suppliers, namely airports, handling companies, fuel suppliers, air traffic control authorities, as well as with the owner of the Blue Air operated aircraft. Subsequently, the company plans to resume flights as of October 10, 2022,” reads a company release sent to Agerpres.
