Bolojan: Government will approve aid for areas affected by disasters in Maramures, Neamt and Suceava

The government is set to approve, on Tuesday, the granting of aid for areas affected by disasters in the counties of Maramures, Neamt and Suceava, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan informed.

These are two draft decisions that provide for the provision of aid for the rehabilitation of the affected public infrastructure in Maramures County, as well as for direct support to families whose homes were affected by the floods at the end of July in Neamţ and Suceava counties.

„After the publication of the decision, we will begin the steps, together with our colleagues from the Ministry of Labor, to distribute these amounts, so that people can rebuild their affected homes as quickly as possible,” the Prime Minister announced at the beginning of the Government meeting.

According to the agenda of Tuesday’s meeting, the Executive will approve the allocation of an amount from the Intervention Fund at the disposal of the Government, provided for in the state budget for 2025, for Rona de Sus, Maramures County.

The agenda of the Government meeting also includes a draft decision regarding the granting of emergency cash aid to people in need caused by the floods in Neamţ and Suceava counties, on July 27 and 28.
