Ilie Bolojan acknowledged on Friday, at a press conference, that he learned from Siegfried Mureșan about his appointment as prime minister by Nicușor Dan. 

“If this nomination was made almost three months late, the responsibility we have is just as valid now as it was three months ago: to try, within our capabilities and depending on our electoral weight, to form a government. The National Liberal Party will deal with this situation responsibly,” the PNL leader added. 

“I found out yesterday, approximately 30 minutes beforehand, through the information communicated to me by Mr Siegfried Mureșan, about the Romanian president’s intention to nominate him to this position,” Bolojan said at a press conference.
