Bolojan: The support enjoyed by the Government will be tested in the no-confidence motion.

He was asked what chances he gives to the initiative initiated by the parliamentary group PACE – Romania First, which announced that it had collected enough signatures to submit a motion of censure against the Government.

„In the conditions in which a motion of censure is submitted, the parliamentary procedure is carried out and the support enjoyed by the Government will then be tested,” Ilie Bolojan declared on Thursday, in a joint press conference with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker.

The parliamentary group PACE – Romania First initiated the motion of censure „Romania is not for sale – without progressives in government”, which is expected to be submitted on Friday and which demands the resignation of the „Progressive Government” led by Ilie Bolojan, on the grounds that it „has demonstrated the inability to manage finances, health, education, social protection, justice and public administration – all the vital areas that define the life of a free and dignified people”.

The motion of censure is to be submitted on Friday, at 11:00, to the Permanent Joint Bureaus of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.AGERPRES
