Book of condolence opened at the Turkish Embassy in Bucharest after deadly earthquake. The flag was lowered at half-mast

The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bucharest opened on Tuesday, starting at 16:00, a book of condolences at the headquarters of the representation, throughout the week, following the earthquake that caused thousands of deaths in Turkey and Syria.

The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bucharest sent a message of thanks for the help offered by our country following the devastating earthquake.

„Thank you, Romania! We will never forget your precious help. God protect the team that is on the way to Turkey! We appreciate their efforts and wish them much success!”, wrote the Embassy, ​​after a team of rescuers from Romania arrived in Turkey to help find the survivors of the earthquake.

Several people, officials and ordinary people, Romanian and Turkish, signed the condolence book opened at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bucharest on Tuesday.

The Turkish flag was lowered at half-mast in the memory of those killed by the earthquake that occurred on Monday morning.
