Bucharest Polytechnic University campus to host green technologies, gardening innovation event

An event dedicated to nature, green technologies and innovation in gardening – POLI BioFEST Home & Garden – will take place Thursday to Sunday on the campus of the Bucharest Polytechnic University.

„POLI BioFEST Home & Garden, the most awaited festival of spring, opens its doors to all those passionate about a sustainable lifestyle. Admission is free, and visitors will discover ecological solutions and innovative technologies for transforming their homes and gardens into functional green spaces,” according to organisers.

POLI BioFEST Home & Garden promises to gather the latest trends in the field of horticulture, offering a wide range of plants, seedlings, seeds, and also ecological solutions and technologies for urban agriculture.

„The over 10,000 square meters of exhibition space will be transformed into a huge garden, where visitors will be able to explore a selection of exotic and local flowers, tree saplings, vine cuttings and much more. All these products will bring a touch of nature to any home or garden, and gardening enthusiasts will find solutions to beautify and green any space.”

At the same time, the exhibitors will bring to the fore the latest technologies and solutions for an eco-responsible life.

The festival will host a variety of products that support the transition to a cleaner and more resource-efficient environment, including energy efficiency solutions, smart irrigation systems and technologies for urban agriculture.

POLI BioFEST Home & Garden will also be a platform for discussions and exchange of ideas between experts, governments and companies in the field of green technologies.

Visitors can participate in conferences and debates that will address topics of great interest, such as combatting climate change, the importance of urban gardens, solutions for efficient agriculture and the digital transformation of the food industry. These sessions will bring to the public innovative perspectives and viable solutions for a more sustainable future.
