The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday’s trading session with all indices in the green and RON 70.51 million (EUR 14.17 million) worth of transactions.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.79 percent to 18,020.52 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.76 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.81 percent higher, while the BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies rose 0.45 percent.
The return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK gained 1.06 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG closed 0.72 percent higher.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market went up 0.79 percent.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were OMV Petrom, with transactions of RON 11.47 million, followed by Hidroelectrica with RON 11.33 million and those of Banca Transilvania – RON 4.87 million.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Casa de Bucovina-Club de Munte (+11.11 percent), Mecanica Ceahlau (+8.82 percent) and Condmag (+8.33 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Prebet (-14,97 percent), Romcab (-8,33 percent) and Ropharma (-4,33 percent).
