Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Tuesday’s session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday’s session higher, and the total value of transactions was 52.20 million RON (11.09 million euros).

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 19.08 million RON, followed by the shares of Hidroelectrica – 5.09 million RON and of OMV Petrom – 4.99 million RON.

The main BET index recorded an appreciation of 0.14%, reaching 17,244.57 points, and the BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares on the Stock Exchange, registered a 0.17% increase.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid shares, closed up 0.15%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, closed the session up 0.42%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, appreciated by 0.23%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.07%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.46%.

The best developments were registered by Mecanica Ceahlau (+12.75%), Rompetrol Well Services (+5.11%) and UAMT (+5%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by COMCM (-14.61%), Condmag (-7.14%) and Romcab (-5.17%).
