The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed lower Wednesday’s session, and the total value of transactions was 60.32 million RON (12.12 million euros).
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of almost 10.30 million RON, followed by the shares of Hidroelectrica – 7.45 million RON and of Transport Trade Services – 7.34 million RON.
The main BET index recorded a depreciation of 0.48%, reaching 17,161.64 points, and the BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 stocks on the Stock Exchange, recorded a 0.52% decline.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks closed down 0.50%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, closed the session down 0.72%.
The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, depreciated by 0.58%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.26%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.68%.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+14.63%), COMCM (+10.16%) and Romcab (+5.45%).
On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Condmag (-7.69%), Alumil Rom Industry (-6.13%) and SIF Hoteluri (-6.12%).
