The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) lost almost RON 13 billion in capitalization, i.e. 3.72%, the week between September 2 and 8, while the value of share transactions increased by 94.70%, compared to the previous week.
According to the data published by the BVB, consulted by AGERPRES, the stock market capitalization reached RON 335.619 billion, between September 2 and 6, 2024, down from RON 348.576 billion, between August 26 and 30.
Stock transactions generated a turnover of RON 259.057 million, up from the value of RON 133.056 million, in the previous week.
The best trading day at BVB was Thursday, September 5, when a turnover of RON 86.034 million was recorded, and the worst day, Monday, September 2, with a transaction value of RON 31.113 million.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange – BET – closed the week at 17,388.74 points.
The shares of Fondului Proprietatea were the most liquid securities on the BVB’s main segment, with transactions of RON 49.881 million and a price increase of 0.42%.
The securities of Transilvania Bank, with transactions of RON 42.014 million (-4.00%) and those of OMV Petrom, with RON 38.380 million (-4.90%), are also at the top of the transactions.
The most important increases in quotations were recorded by the shares of UCM Resita (8.09%), Romcab (4.08%) and Bittnet Systems (+2.62%).
At the opposite pole, important decreases were recorded by the shares of TTS, with a decline of 21.05%, followed by those of Conted (-17.34%) and Prebet (-15.71%).
