Bucharest Stock Exchange open shigher on almost all indices on Thursday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher on Thursday on almost all indices, with transactions amounting to 8.56 million RON (1.7 million euros), 40 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a slight increase of 0.01%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an advance of 0.02%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, was up 0.02%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.23%.

At the same time, the BET-FI index of SIFs recorded an increase of 0.09%, and BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded a depreciation of 0.09%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.31%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share values were recorded by the companies Sinteza (+14.29%), Rompetrol Rafinare (+8.76%) and Comcm Constanta (+5.92%).

On the other hand, the shares of Rompetrol Well Services (-3.07%), Chimcomplex (-0.37%) and Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-0.33%) were decreasing.
