Bucharest Stock Exchange opens down its trading session on Wednesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened down its trading session on Wednesday, with trading amounting to Ron 2.09 million (420,673 euros), after the first 40 minutes.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a slight decrease of 0.01%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from BVB, saw a similar decrease.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.01%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.07%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs stagnated, and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies from the energy and utilities sector, rose by 0.10%.

According to BVB data, Rompetrol Rafinare (+8.90%), Romcab (+3.36%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (+2.92%) registered the biggest increases in share value.

On the other hand, the shares of Comelf (-5.26%), Socep (-3.82%) and TTS (-1.58%) were decreasing.
