Bucharest Stock Exchange opens down on most indices on Wednesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday’s session down on most indices, on trades of RON 9.62 million (1.93 million euros), after an hour and a half of trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a depreciation of 0.18%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares from the BVB, saw a decline similar to the main index.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, „lost” 0.17%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.21% .

The BET-FI index of SIFs was the only one on the plus side with an appreciation of 0.04%. The BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded a 0.16% decline.

According to the BVB data, the biggest increases in the share value were recorded by Promateris (+7.14%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+3.07%) and SSIF BRK Financial Group (+2.93%).

On the other hand, the shares of One United Properties (-2.87%), Transilvania Investments Alliance (-1.83%) and Lion Capital (-1.05%) were decreasing.
