Bucharest Stock Exchange opens down on most indices Wednesday trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened its Wednesday session down on most indices, with the value of the transactions reaching RON 6.35 million (1.27 million euros) in the 45 minutes of trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a 0.14% drop, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, saw a 0.13% drop.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, lost 0.13%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.21%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs rose by 0.09%, and the BET-NG, the index of ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, fell by 0.19%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by: Sinteza (+1.54%), Biofarm (+1.28%) and Carbochim (+1.06%).

On the other hand, the shares of Farmaceutica Remedia (-9.25%), Condmag (-9.09%) and Simtel Team (-7.31%) were decreasing.
