The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Monday opened downwards on almost all indices, with transactions totalling 5.21 million RON (1.04 million euros) 40 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded a depreciation of 0.19%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw a decline of 0.21%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, was down by 0.14%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.09%.
At the same time, the BET-FI index of SIFs recorded an increase of 0.60%, and BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, went down 0.27%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 0.14%.
According to the BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by the companies Altur (+8.57%), Sinteza (+6.72%) and Fondul Proprietatea (+3.48%).
On the other hand, the shares of Bermas (-11.24%), Mecanica Ceahlau (-9.91%) and Safetech Innovations (-3.47%) were decreasing.
