The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s session higher, with turnover reaching 2.2 million RON (442,362 euros) after the first half hour of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.17%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded an advance of 0.16%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, was up 0.25%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, was up 0.13%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs registered an advance of 0.81%, and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded an appreciation of 0.20%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.20%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Oil Terminal (+3.06%), Infinity Capital Investments (+2.50%) and Farmaceutica Remedia (+2.47%).
On the other hand, shares of Mecanica Fina (-4.86%), AETA (-2.03%) and Patria Bank (-1.94%) were down.
