Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Friday’s session in the red on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened with declines on most indices on Friday, and turnover amounted to 8.5 million RON (1.7 million euros) after 30 minutes from the start of the session.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered a depreciation of 0.13%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BVB, recorded a decline of 0.12%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, was down by 0.17%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.04%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs registered a decrease of 0.48%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered a depreciation of 0.15%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in the value of shares were registered by the companies Electroaparataj (+14.79%), Condmag (+12.50%) and COMCM (+8.92%).

On the other hand, the shares of IAR Brasov (-6.56%), Artego (-5.45%) and UCM Resita (-3.88%) were in decline.
