The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s trading session amid uncertain trends and the turnover amounted to 4,049 million lei (813,642 euros) after 40 minutes of trading.
The main index BET, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.03%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares of the BVB, recorded an increase of 0.04%.
At the same time, the broad blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.02%, while the benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, also depreciated 0.02%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs was down 0.35% and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, lost 0.09%.
According to BVB data, Comcm (+8.14%), Turbomecanica (+1.90%) and Romcarbon (+1.44%) recorded the highest increases in share value.
On the other hand, UCM Resita (-2.61%), Transelectrica (-1.80%) and Infinity Capital Investments (-1.78%) were down.
