Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Friday’s trading session lower

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s trading session lower, with transactions of 4.1 million lei (824,044 euros), carried out in the first half hour of trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, depreciated 0.04%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 37 most liquid shares on the BVB, opened down 0.04%.

Also, the BET-XT blue-chip broad index of the 25 most liquid stocks declined 0.16%, while the benchmark for mutual fund returns, BET-BK, depreciated 0.34%.

The SIF’s BET-FI index was down 0.98% and BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities companies, was up 1.15%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 companies representative of the AeRO market, opened 0.50% higher.

According to BVB information, the biggest increases in share values were recorded by SIF Hoteluri (+7.5%), Cemacon (+2.1%) and Altur (+2%).

On the other hand, the shares of Transport TRade Services (-3.53%), Lion Capital (-2.82%) and COMCM Constanta (-2.63%) were down.
