The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday’s trading session higher on most indices, with transactions of 4.09 million RON (823,573 EUR), 45 minutes into trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, went up by 0.22%, while the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.19%.
Also, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.20% higher, while the BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies closed down 0.28%.
The return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK increased by 0.25%, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG closed 0.40% higher.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market rose 0.07%.
According to BVB information, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (+11.25%), Alumil Rom Industry (+1.83%) and Ropharma (+1.70%).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were COMCM SA (-9.55%), UCM Resita (-5.84%) and Zentiva (-2.50%).
