The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher on all indices on Monday, with a turnover of 1.23 billion lei (approximately 242.9 million euros) after the first 30 minutes of trading.
Of this turnover total, the value of bonds amounted to 1.2 billion lei, while stock trades accounted for 36.1 million lei.
The main index BET, which reflects the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 3.94%, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the top 43 most liquid stocks, rose 3.92%.
The BET-XT extended blue-chip index, which includes the 25 most traded stocks, was up 3.73%, while the BET-BK index, a benchmark for investment fund performance, increased 3.55%.
At the same time: the BET-FI index, which tracks financial investment companies (SIFs), was up 2.65%.
The BET-NG index, for energy and utilities companies, showed a 3.43% increase.
The BET AeRO, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market (BVB’s alternative trading system), advanced 3.67%.
According to BVB data, the biggest stock value gains were recorded by: Artego: +13.56%, Arobs Transilvania Software: +12.07%, ETF BET BRK (Open Investment Fund): +11.78%.
On the downside, losses were posted by: Longshild Investment Group: -1.88%, Romcab: -0.65%, Erste Group Bank AG: -0.55%.
