Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Monday’s session in the red

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) was trending down on most indices after the first hour of Monday’s session, and the turnover amounted to 7.36 million RON (1.48 million euros).

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered a depreciation of 0.12%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, recorded a similar decrease.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, went down by 0.12%, while the performance benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.01% .

The BET-FI index of SIFs was up by 0.17%, and the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded an advance of 0.04%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up by 0.20%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+14.67%), Mecanica Fina (+7.32%) and Bermas (+5.52%).

On the other hand, COMCM (-14.06%), Condmag (-8.33%) and AAGES (-4.08%) were down.
