Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s session in the red, with total transactions amounting to 8.65 million lei (1.74 million euros), 40 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which reflects the development of the 20 most liquid companies, fell by 0.09%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, fell by 0.08%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.06%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, fell by 0.09%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs increased by 0.17%, while the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, lost 0.27% of its value.
BETAeRO, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, saw a decrease of 0.19%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Chimcomplex Borzesti (+6.25%), Altur (+5.34%) and BRD (+1.47%).
On the other hand, the shares of Aeta (-4.96%), Alro (-1.63%) and Purcari Wineries Public Company Limited (-1.49%) were in decline. AGERPRES
