Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Monday’s session with growth on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s session with growth on most indices, with transactions of 12.11 million RON (824,044 euros), carried out in the first hour after the start of operations.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, appreciated by 0.32%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 37 most liquid shares from the BVB, opened up by 0.31%.

Also, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, registered an advance of 0.29%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0,42%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs appreciated by 0.05% one hour after the start of transactions, and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, rose by 0.44%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, opened down by 0.51%.

According to BVB information, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by UCM Resita (+15%), Energopetrol (+14.29%) and Romgaz (+4.08%).

On the other hand, the shares of Condmag (-7.69%), Erste Group Bank (-4.97%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (-4.58%) were in decline.
