The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s trading session with increases on most indices, transactions amounting to 3.71 million lei (735,250 euros) 30 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, went up 0.29%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded an increase of 0.28%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.22%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.48%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs lost 0.37%, and the BET-NG, the index of ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, saw an advance of 0.28%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, increased by 0.33%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by: Condmag (+8.33%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1, (+7.36%) and Transilvania Investments Alliance (+1.7%).
On the other hand, the shares that decreased were: Sinteza (-14.65%), Altur (-6.9%) and Compa (-2.86%).
