The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s session with increases on most indices, transactions amounting to 14.09 million lei (2.7 million euros), 45 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, went up by 1.35%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw an increase of 1.29%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, gained 1.22%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.80%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs increased slightly, by 0.30%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 1.76%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, lost 0.37%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share values were recorded by Carbochim (5.59%), Altur (+5.30%) and Transgaz (+5.29%).
On the other hand, the shares of SIF Hoteluri (-5.41%), Electromagnetica (-1.83%) and Alumil Rom Industry (-1.49%) were down.
